Erin and Johnathan’s day in Zion felt calm, warm, and effortlessly meaningful—wrapped in the quiet beauty of a November afternoon. They spent the morning getting ready together in a cozy suite in Springdale, the small town just outside the park, setting a relaxed and intimate tone for the day.

Their ceremony took place on the lawn of the Zion Lodge, surrounded by towering canyon walls glowing in the afternoon light. Standing in the heart of the park gave their vows a grounded, present feeling—simple, honest, and deeply personal.

After the ceremony, we headed up the Zion Overlook Trail for portraits. What was described as an “easy” hike proved otherwise, but the payoff was undeniable. The sweeping views of cliffs, ridges, and desert tones created a striking backdrop for portraits that felt both cinematic and true to the day.
The evening ended back in Springdale, gathered around a fire pit as the air cooled—an easy, fitting close to a beautiful celebration.
